One of the oldest and largest temples in Bangkok featuring the famous Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The measurement is 15 metres tall and 46 metres long. The Buddha’s feet are 5 metres long and exquisitely decorated in mother-of-pearl illustrations of auspicious ‘Laksanas’ (characteristics) of the Buddha. For good luck, most of the people will drop coins at the entrance of the hall into the 108 bronze bowls.
To enter, you must wear appropriate clothings : no exposed shoulders or skin above the knee. Entrance fee at time of publishing is THB 100 per person. It’s a great opportunity to have a real cultural experience in Bangkok. The Temple has a guided tour, and also has a massage school.
